Olympic Velodrome to Feature a Triple Jump on the Back Stretch

LONDON, ENGLAND (CN) –  The 2012 Olympic Committee has announced an incredible new feature of the velodrome to be used in London during the upcoming Olympic games. In an effort to push the limits of the sport and encourage a younger fan base the committee has announced the addition of a new triple jump located on the back stretch of the velodrome surface. The racers will “catch air” and travel over twenty feet as they leap over the new feature. The head of the committee, Girard Winslet, said ” We need to do something to compete with the X games. I don’t know who Tony White or Shawn Hawk are but they are taking sponsor money away from our games”. Some teams have already discussed using new technology to adapt to the surface change. We expect to see the world’s first full suspension pursuit bikes come in 2012. Look for updates and an exciting year of track cycling in preparation.
